ATAP Adds Two New Board Members

The Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) has selected two new members to join its Board of Directors- Cathy Henesey and BJ McGuire.

Cathy Henesey leads Talent Acquisition for Adventist Health System headquartered in Orlando, FL. Cathy has over 25 years of talent acquisition experience in a variety of industries including IT, manufacturing, banking and healthcare. Cathy has spoken at many national conferences, including the ITAA CEO Summit, ERE Expo, ASHHRA, SourceCon. She has represented the recruitment industry in Washington D.C. as an advocate for the Immigration Visa Quota bill and healthcare initiatives.

BJ McGuire is an executive with 20 years’ experience in talent acquisition. He has led talent acquisition teams within technology search firms, financial services, and media and entertainment.  Based out of Burbank, CA, BJ currently leads the talent acquisition function for Walt Disney Company Corporate, responsible for strategy, operations, and recruitment delivery.

ATAP Board President Tom Darrow shared, “Our Board voted to increase the Board size from seven to nine given the rapid growth of ATAP in our first year and the numerous initiatives and goals that we have set for the next several years.  We’re thrilled to welcome Cathy and BJ!  Their expertise and network will clearly help ATAP further advance the Talent Acquisition profession.”
