ATAP Welcome’s New Executive Director

The Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) announced today that Kristen LeBlanc has been appointed Executive Director of the professional organization. Kristen is a Certified Association Executive who holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree from North Carolina State University. With a career spanning fifteen years in nonprofit and government leadership, Kristen was most recently Deputy Director, Member Product Development & Engagement, at the American Psychiatric Association.

ATAPs new Executive Director, Kristen, said, “I am excited to be a part of such an important organization and look forward to advancing the talent acquisition profession through my role with ATAP. I am grateful to Ben Gotkin for his leadership and vision and I know he will continue to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of the organization.”

Outgoing Executive Director and co-founder, Ben Gotkin, said, “I wish the best of luck to my successor, Kristen LeBlanc, and to ATAP’s leadership and members for the long-term growth and future success the organization.”

ATAP’s newly appointed Board President, Jim D’Amico, welcomed Kristen by stating, “I’m excited to have Kristen join ATAP. She brings a wealth of experience in association leadership, including managing growth, value and advocacy. We look forward to her being an active part in our growth and continuing our drive to add value to all members of the talent acquisition community.”

Founded in 2016, the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) is the only global, member-driven non-profit representing all of talent acquisition. ATAP established the Professional Code of Recruiting Integrity, builds a common body of knowledge for and advocates on behalf of the profession, and fosters an inclusive community of all professionals who have talent acquisition responsibilities.
