The Human Capital Metrics Financial Reporting Mandate for 2021: Are you ready?

In December 2018, the ISO published the first-ever Human Capital Reporting Standard. In August 2019, the SEC proposed new guidelines governing a suggested disclosure for publicly traded companies. Prior to this date, the only item the SEC required to be reported related to human capital was the number of employees. Now, In 2020, the U.S. Congress is looking to make the reporting of certain human capital metrics mandatory in 2021.
