Association Advocacy

The Association’s advocacy efforts advance the talent acquisition profession and ensure that members’ perspectives on key issues are heard. We aim to actively advise and influence within all levels of governmental policy—ranging from legislation to regulations affecting how our profession works.

As part of our advocacy, we intend to represent the profession:

  • On a global level within the business world to establish the profession as a respected, valuable component to the growth and stability of any organization.
  • In relation to and in partnership with other professional organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
  • Within the vendor community to influence service and solution providers to develop and innovate products to best meet the needs of talent acquisition professionals.
  • To the media on topics impacting our profession, job seekers and the labor market.
