ATAP Names New Board President and Board Member

The Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) announced today that Jim D’Amico has been named the new ATAP Board President and Chloé Rada has become the newest Board Member. Tom Darrow will be stepping down as Board President after over two years in the role.

Jim D’Amico currently leads global talent acquisition for Celanese, a chemical innovation company based in Irving, TX.  He has over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.

The first half of his career focused on third party recruiting, including building a successful RPO business. For the last 12 years, he has built best-in-class talent acquisition centers of excellence for global companies (Barnes Group, The Schwan Food Company, Bissell, Spectrum Health, Celanese). He is globally recognized for building differentiated hiring processes based on the quality of results, achieved through efficiency, technology, and scientific analysis of metrics and datum. In 2015 he and his team at Spectrum Health were recognized as the Best Large Recruiting Organization by ERE. He is frequent global speaker and author and  is very active in the TA community as a mentor.

Chloé Rada is an ATAP Founding Volunteer and most recently an Executive Operating Council member and the Marketing Committee lead. She is a forward-thinking, creative and analytics-driven leader with 19 years of experience in the Talent Acquisition industry. She has overall responsibility for Sodexo’s talent technology and vendor management to support recruitment and on-boarding for all management and executive level positions enterprise-wide. She also oversees Sodexo’s Candidate Experience and Talent Attraction Strategy.

Founded in 2016, the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) is the only global, member-driven non-profit representing all of talent acquisition. ATAP established the Professional Code of Recruiting Integrity, builds a common body of knowledge for and advocates on behalf of the profession, and fosters an inclusive community of all professionals who have talent acquisition responsibilities.
